Prime Time Brass, Rochester’s powerhouse brass band, plays a crowd-pleasing mix of Big Band Jazz, Pop, New Orleans-style, and show stopping patriotic productions. The “PTB” style features sizzling brass, amazing showmanship, and outrageous crowd interaction.


Notable performances:

  • 2013 – 2017 – Prime Time Brass performed opening night, each year, of the Rochester International Jazz Festival to standing-room-only crowds.

  • 2010 – 2014, 2016, 2018 – New Orleans, LA
    Mardi Gras Week – leading up to, and including, Fat Tuesday

  • 2008 – 2015 – New York City
    Concerts on 5th Avenue, in Central Park, Times Square, a special request concert for the NYPD and NYFD near the site of the 9/11 Memorial, and at the USS Intrepid/Space Shuttle Enterprise Museum

  • 2014 – 2015 – Washington, DC
    Concert at the WWII Memorial

  • The Prime Time Brass is a Rochester community fixture at sporting events, parades, and holiday festivities.
